Dr.Tareq Mahbub is Assistant Professor at the School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh. He completed his MBA specializing in International Business from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He also has an MA in English from Dhaka University. He has extensive corporate experience having worked in the pharmaceuticals sector for more than 10 years. He has worked in multicultural settings both home and abroad. Before joining Independent University, Bangladesh, he had been a full-time faculty at BRAC University. His research interests include Foreign Direction Investment and Intellectual Property Rights, Foreign Direct Investment in the Emerging Economies and International Market Entry Modes.
