Department of Marketing, School of Business, IUB in collaboration with Independent Marketers’ Association (IMA) celebrated “Bangladesh Marketing Day” given the theme “Consumers First” on 1st of July, 2018 at the IUB auditorium. The session was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Milan Pagon, Pro-Vice Chancellor, IUB, Professor Dr. Mohd. Aminul Karim, Dean of School of Business, Mr. Mohammed Sohel Islam, Head of Department of Marketing, and Mr. Abul Khair Jyote ,Senior Lecturer, Department of Marketing and IMA Coordinator.
The purpose of the event was to uphold the true meaning of Marketing and indulge in learning from real life experiences. The event was equipped with marketing documentary, certificate distribution and various other activities. Mr Naveed Mahbub – CEO and Founder of the “Naveed Mahbub Show”, Imran Khurshid – Executive Director and Lead Facilitator, “Mind mechanics”, Arafat Jaigirdar – Commercial Affairs, “British American Tobacco”, Palash Shakil – Young Entrepreneur, Prito Reza – Founder Photographer Director, “Wedding Diary Bangladesh”, Sadman Sadik – “Chief Content Creator, 10 Minute School”, Adnan Adib Khan – Copy Supervisor, “Grey Dhaka”, Rasel Mahmud – Creative Director, “Grey Dhaka”, Jaydad Rahman Chowdhury – Strategic & Campaign Initiator, “Bongo BD”, Quazi Sabir – Co-founder, “Imago Sports Management Ltd” and many others spoke on this occasion and shared their valuable knowledge and experiences.
The event was followed by mesmerizing cultural performances by some talented young artists including Palash Shakil – Vocalist at CYCLE, Tareq Hossain / Vocalist at Krishna Paksha, Tri-Liner Beats – Musical Band, Udoy Rahman – Vocalist from Frontline Poems, Apekkhik – Musical Band,Bunon – Musical Band and other students from IUB.
